Walk the Talk

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” ― Mahatma Gandhi

New ideas and voices of modern philanthropists play a significant role in achieving meaningful impact. However, mere ideas and voices are not enough to bring changes, it is equally important that philanthropists learn to walk the talk. Every step counts when you are a modern philanthropist. Each step, however small the step is, can bring a meaningful change in the life of a needful individual or community.

As modern philanthropists who seek permanent changes in the community, we need to question, challenge and inspire each other for the betterment of the world. There is a need to expand our horizons as modern philanthropists, make a note of the positive changes achieved and work hard for increasing equity, diversity and inclusion in philanthropic endeavors.

Modern philanthropy is not easy as it needs commitment and hard work. While spreading awareness and motivating others to do their bit for the society is important, it is more important that we stay committed in our journey till the end. What is most important is to reach out to others in whatever way possible and to literally walk the talk.
